Exhibit Dates: July 13-September 16, 2010

"Everything Old is New Again" is the theme of this year's competition.
Works submitted will be judged by Melinda Bula, a nationally known fabric designer and quilter and
author of Cutting Garden Quilts.
Cash prizes will be awarded during the opening reception and gallery talk on July 29th.
These include: $1,000.00 for Best of Show, as well as $500.00 each for Best Hand Quilting by Maker, Best Machine Quilting by Maker, and Best Group Quilting; other awards will be given as additional support is obtained.
The competition was open to quilters living within a 150 mile radius of Johnson City.
Entries were required to be original works, between 100 and 400 inches in perimeter, not been shown before, and meet with the theme 'Everything Old is New Again'.

Opening Reception:
July 29, 2010, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
with gallery talk by judge Melinda Bula from 6:00-6:30 p.m.
